PTA's Clinical Expertise / Accredited Pharmacy
PTA's state of the art infusion pharmacy center is under the direction of Nick Maroulis, Director of Pharmacy, and Dr. Hank Graybeal, Assistant Director of Pharmacy. Our pharmacy team includes: Pharm D's, Registered Nurses (CRNI), Pharmacy Technicians and other dedicated staff members. Together they create a multidisciplinary team approach to the patients individualized plan of care. This plan of care includes patient assessment, intervention, and monitoring that integrates with the home health nurse, physician, and payor. PTA's individualized plan of care provides a higher quality of infusion therapy management throughout the patient's treatment.
PTA's infusion pharmacists are well experienced in pharmacokinetics dosing. This experience allows the pharmacists to tailor the drug to meet the specific needs of the patients and to assure the successful treatment of the patients' disease. Our pharmacists also work closely with the patients' referring physician who oversees the total direction of the patients' treatment.
Comprehensive nutritional assessments are performed by Hank Graybeal, Pharm D, BCNSP (Board Certified in Nutritional Support Pharmacist). Consultation and appropriate nutritional recommendations are provided to our patients as needed.
PTA is accredited by The Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), and is a member of The National Home Infusion Association (NHIA). PTA also acts in accordance with the HIPAA Privacy Act for patient confidentiality.
All patient therapies are continuously monitored and evaluated by our pharmacy team.
